Ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi took charge as the Prime Minister of India in May 2014, the people received a fresh boost of optimism. PM Modi worked wonders as the Chief Minister of Gujarat over a decade and this is the reason people had massive expectations from him and his government. It is safe to say that he has fulfilled almost all the expectations and is on his way to change the country.
With the arrival of PM Modi, the prospects of the Bharatiya Janata Party have improved like never before and it has made inroads into many territories where it had menial prominence in the past. This is owed to the confidence of the people in PM Modi and his party and their mission of serving the people.
The Uttar Pradesh elections were deemed a ‘litmus test’ for the BJP and oppositions boasted that the U.P elections’ verdict would show what the people actually feel about PM Modi and the BJP. In a surprise for the opposition, the people did express their belief and gave a single-handed victory to the BJP.
The next big jolt that the oppositions and the Liberals received was when Yogi Adityanath was made the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Known to be a strong and disciplined figure, the oppositions feared that the arrival of Yogi Adityanath could seal their political fate forever. And CM Yogi has been delivering on the BJP’s promises and this can be established from the improved law and order situation in the state.
Social media has been one of the major “tools” of the BJP governments across the country and the same is being used in U.P to improve the law and order. Here’s one such instance where one man from Moradabad in U.P tweeted about how a shopkeeper from whom he purchased a mobile phone was harassing him.
He alleged that he had recently purchased a mobile phone from a shop but the seller did not give him a proper invoice for the same. He also alleged that the phone was not working in a proper condition. He revealed that the shopkeeper refused to give a legitimate bill and also refused to replace the phone.
The man requested the U.P Police to help him since the shopkeeper had been harassing him for over a month now. He received a response from the U.P Police’s official Twitter handle and he was asked to give a request letter at the nearest police station and action would be taken.
The next response that was received was from the complainant himself and he revealed that the shopkeeper agreed to replace his phone after seeing the tweet from the U.P Police. The police force had a really bad reputation under the SP and BSP governments but now the change can be witnessed.
